I am an independent public policy and legal researcher, with nearly a decade of experience behind me. My work has been cited by the International Monetary Fund and Agami Foundation.

Currently I am working on my doctoral thesis which focusses on algorithmic management and digital Taylorism in the beauty industry. 

My specialisations are in finance, technology, sustainability policy and labour regulation. Other than drafting laws at all levels of legislative delegation, I have undertaken empirical projects in regulatory studies, workplace transformations as well as sustainability disclosures. Before starting my doctoral research, I have worked extensively on analysing sustainability disclosures, assessing workplace conditions and tracing financialization in the garments and electronics industry.

I finished my law and humanities degrees from the (West Bengal) National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata in 2016. More recently I obtained a diploma and fellowship through the Managing Global Governance Project which is administered by the German Federal Ministry of Cooperation (BMZ). I am scheduled to finish my PhD. defence by 2029.
